Vic: Woman dies after horse falls on her at jump

MELBOURNE, April 16 AAP - A 35-year-old woman died after her horse fell on her during
an equestrian event at Camperdown, in western Victoria, this morning.

A police spokeswoman said the woman fell off the horse when it stumbled at a jump.

The horse then fell on her.

A doctor failed to revive her at the scene.

The accident happened at the Camperdown Lakeside Reserve about 10.30am.

The name of the woman, who was from western Victoria, has not been released.
