ALTAMONT -- Stephen O. Demers, 63, of Becker Road, Altamont, died September 6, 2000 after a short illness. Born in Champlain he was an area resident since 1957. He was a labor foreman for August Bohl Construction Co. of Glenmont working for 37 years until his retirement in 1993. He was a member of Labor Local 157 of Schenectady. He was a communicant of St. Lucy's Church in Altamont.
