NSW: Three youths charged with abduction

Police say three youths will face a Sydney children's court today after allegedly abducting
a man in his own car.

The teenagers, two aged 16 and one aged 17, approached a 26-year-old man in the railway
station carpark at Guildford, in Sydney's west, about 7pm (AEST) yesterday.

They allegedly forced him into the rear of his Nissan coupe.

Police say the Guildford youths drove to a secluded area in nearby Greystanes where
they released the man, who then contacted police.

The teenagers were arrested shortly after and charged with a number of offences, including
detaining a person for advantage without causing injury.

All three were refused bail and will appear at Lidcombe Childrens Court this morning.
