Qld: Assault charges follow police attack

A man will face Queensland court today after a police officer was attacked at Eagleby,
south of Brisbane overnight.

Queensland police say they were called to a house in Parkland Court around 8pm (AEST)
following reports of a domestic dispute.

When a police officer arrived at the scene house he was assaulted along with a 41-year-old
man who was at the house.

Police say a 37-year-old man will face serious assault charges when he appears in the
Beenleigh Magistrates Court today.
