NSW: Five people escape fire in Sydney golf course house
SYDNEY, April 9 AAP - Five people escaped a blaze which destroyed a house on the grounds of
an eastern Sydney golf course this morning.
Police said the suspicious fire followed a 3.20am explosion in the roof of the house
attached to the East Lakes Golf Club at Daceyville.
A 36-year-old man was awoken by the explosion and alerted emergency services. Four other
people were evacuated from the house.
A fire brigade spokesman said the building was destroyed and 25 golf carts were damaged.
Nobody was injured and an estimate on the damage had not yet been made.
The fire was being treated as suspicious, a police spokesman said.

whatta tragedy I was there when it was happen. Were just lucky that it was not in our room and no really hurt as Police and firemen came so fast to treat the fire.
